In this role you will be a Senior Manager, Finance Transformation for a $12 billion multinational subsidiary of a US based Dow 30 Company. This position offers a unique opportunity for a proactive, high energy individual to play a key role in the Otis Finance Transformation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting business process, controls, and risk. In addition strong project management, leadership, and communication skills will be essential. As Otis plans to setup an in-house finance service center in India, this position will be directly aligned to the objectives and underlying activities to ensure a complete and successful transition. This position interfaces directly with the Otis Controller’s department along with the Otis regional and entity-level controller’s and finance department leadership.
Lead and directly oversee the process documentation associated with the processes and sub-processes to be transitioned into the finance service center. Initial processes will encompass general ledger accounting (R2R) including account reconciliation, journal entries, fixed assets and intercompany transactions, procure to pay (P2P) as well as cash application (O2C). Such responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Project management activities including overall project timeline and deliverables
Communication and coordination with key stakeholders (e.g., project director, finance service center leader, in-scope entities, Subject Matter Experts, etc.)
Design and development of standard process documentation template, including critical elements, to ensure operational effectiveness and to ensure compliance with financial reporting and accounting controls for both Sarbanes Oxley and internal audit reviews
Manage technical writers and liaise with stakeholders to resolve differences in practice and documentation
Facilitate validation of process documentation and manage changes as needed
Identify process improvement opportunities and assist in implementation of identified initiatives
Perform various financial and non-financial analysis including performance against plan, service fees, service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Develop and maintain reference guides to support global deployment of business analytical tool (QlikView)
Develop presentation materials to effectively communicate project status
Travel : International travel of approximately 25%

Ideal candidate has a minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience. CPA (or equivalent) is preferred.
Experience in multi-national, publicly traded companies preferred
Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills are needed for success in this position
Process oriented mindset with strong attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy
Demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Results focused and ability to meet deadlines
Strong oral and written communication skills
