UTC is in the process of implementing Workday as the global HR system and ADP as the global payroll provider. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to be part of the global HR transformation. The rollouts commenced in 2014, with 9 countries live already (Singapore, Korea, China, Brazil, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Ireland). We are currently in the process of implementing in UK, Poland, France, Netherlands, Hong Kong, India, Spain, Czech Republic. Upcoming countries include Switzerland, Italy, UAE, Thailand, Israel, Hungary, Taiwan, Austria and others continuing through 2021.
The successful individual will be an integrations lead on the global HR/Payroll project responsible for designing, developing, testing and implementing Workday integrations across various countries. This will require working with a large project team across multiple countries and functions, including Digital Technology, HR and Payroll.
Lead integration implementation for Global HR/Payroll country implementations. This will also require managing offshore development resources, and the requirements through go-live process for each country implementation.
Develop integrations for country implementations and projects as required. This includes the certified Workday/ADP connector, load programs to support those integrations, global UTC integrations, and local integrations.
Provide technical leadership on integrations focused workshops, and partner with conversion leads, IT leads and local BU resources to ensure a holistic architecture and solution.
Provide technical leadership and ownership on the UTC Workday integration hub to minimize the volume of integrations out of Workday, while supporting. Enhance the process and architecture to meet the project and business needs.
Drive Workday/ADP certified connector product needs across countries and vendors. Support country implementation and production support teams, and coordinate requirements and issues.
Develop expertise in Workday and ADP integrations and the UTC solution and environment.
Identify opportunities in the overall project methodology for technical or process improvements to facilitate agile development, shorter timelines, and more robust integrations.
Oversee the Workday/ADP integration requirements across countries. Communicate and work with HR, Payroll and Digital leadership teams accordingly to manage resource and system constraints, while supporting the project timeline goals.
In addition to process and system improvements, develop strong relationships with other members of the HR Digital team, and the HR and Payroll teams to facilitate integration delivery & support.
Provide innovative technology solutions for the overall system landscape & architecture.
Develop Workday functional, technical and integration expertise.
Work with ADP, Workday and other partners to explore additional opportunities/value that can be provided to UTC through investments already made. Drive UTC needs into their product design.
