This is a great opportunity for someone coming out of college with an engineering degree who wants to be hands-on, in the field. You’ll diagnose, analyze, troubleshoot and solve complex HVAC and utility systems problems. And you’ll conduct energy audits and focus on developing energy conservation measures. You’ll work closely with each individual client ensuring their full satisfaction. And you’ll be mentored by a Sr. Engineer learning our technology and business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute and interpret performance testing

• Perform energy savings calculations

• Collect and interpret data

• Draw conclusions and provide recommendations

• Present findings and corrective actions to the client

• Execute testing, adjusting and balancing activities in the field.

• Assist in the development of the commissioning and retro-commissioning check sheets and test protocols

• Execute New Construction and Existing Building commissioning tasks in the field (issues database management, installation and functional testing, staff training, warranty reviews etc.)

• Assist with Energy Audits, Feasibility Studies, and Building Assessment

• Write field reports, site inspection reports and summary letters for work performed

• Assist in the final development of reports.

• Ensure customer/client satisfaction for tasks performed.

• Provide technical, communication and leadership skills necessary to effectively present findings and corrective actions to the client.

Qualification: EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Working knowledge of commercial/industrial HVAC components, systems and distribution and controls

  • Working knowledge of electrical distribution systems

  • Strong communication and technical writing skills along with project level experience is preferred

Education: EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree from ABET accredited engineering program in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering

  • A combined work experience may be substituted for bachelors of engineering degree

  • Certified Engineer-in-Training (EIT) is preferred
