Pratt & Whitney's Commercial Serviceable Assets (CSA) organization, part of the Transactional Aftermarket function of our Commercial Engines business, is embarking on a growth journey. As such, the organization is seeking to fill a senior manager position responsible for both implementing future-facing growth strategies and acting as a sales executive.

Key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading the implementation of CSA growth initiatives -- develop priorities, strategies and timelines for key business initiatives.

  • Develop tracking metrics and reports to brief senior business leadership including an executive audience on progress toward attaining growth targets.

  • Interface with cross-functional teams within Commercial Engines and throughout Pratt & Whitney's business to achieve shared goals.

  • Develop and maintain effective customer relationships.

  • Understand the serviceable material market, identify business opportunities, develop strategies to meet objectives and mobilize resources to secure deals.

  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer's business, processes and systems to create and maintain a competitive advantage for Pratt & Whitney.

  • Oversee all aspects of customer order administration including processing orders/quotes, communicating material availability/pricing/delivery information and expediting requests.

  • Provide coverage, as needed, of all accounts in the group to assist coworkers.

  • Participate on/lead off hour customer support meetings and conference calls.

This position will report to the Associate Director, Commercial Serviceable Asset Sales and may be located in East Hartford, Connecticut or Dallas, Texas.

Qualification:

Required Qualifications

7-10 years of demonstrated project management experience including advanced knowledge of project management tools and software applications

7-10 years of prior work experience which includes direct customer facing roles

Preferred Qualifications

A history of successful business negotiations resulting in "win-win" outcomes for the business and customers

Ability to multitask and drive large and complex projects and business initiatives to successful closure

Prior aerospace aftermarket sales experience

Knowledge of gas turbine engine part nomenclature and gas turbine engine maintenance, repair and overhaul procedures

Familiarity with gas turbine engine operation and assembly methods

Working knowledge of SAP

Education:

Bachelor's degree in a business discipline or related field of study with 10+ years of relevant work experience

Master's degree or higher in a business discipline or related field of study with 7+ years of relevant work experience
