This position is in the Military Engine F117 Logistics Program Management organization and is primarily responsible for the management of the Over and Above claim process with our Customer. The person selected for this position will work closely with the F117 Fleet Operations and Technical groups to identify engines with potential conditions that are not covered by the F117 contract. Once identified, the candidate will work closely with the F117 Overhaul Depots and Technical Group to complete a documentation package of the hardware condition, which in turn is submitted to the Customer for review, approval, and payment. The candidate will track the claim from initial identification through final payment by the customer. In addition to this primary responsibility, the person selected for this position will provide support for engines designated for investigation by the customer and provide backup support to the F117 Asset Manager, whose responsibilities are to manage all F117 engines once turned over to P&W through the entire overhaul process. This position will have the opportunity to travel to the F117 overhaul sites to provide support to our offsite teams.


Basic Qualifications:

Selected candidate should have 4 to 8 plus years in the following areas:

  • B.S. in Engineering and/or Business.

  • Working knowledge of PW2000 / F117 engines and component overhaul & repair

  • Technical understanding of propulsion systems and their components

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Skills in MS Access a plus.

  • Material and / or Logistics management knowledge

  • Continuous improvement experience with ability to develop and implement standard work

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree desirable.
