This opportunity is for the Quality Assurance Customer Support (QAC) Team working in Core Quality for all of P&W. The team handles 600-800 Customer Concerns/complaints annually. With a large quantity of Customer Concerns, the QAC will need ultimate optimization of quality processes, procedures, and daily quality functions for efficient response and control of the Quality investigation footprint.

The QAC will need a strong knowledge in root cause and corrective actions to evaluate Customer Concern Responses and Reports. A strong knowledge in SAP and QN is important to understand drive the investigation process to closure.

The Quality Assurance Customer Support team does not conduct all the analysis to resolve the problem, but guides the investigation team and quality engineers through ACE principals to ensure all applicable and appropriate assessments are properly resolved. The Quality Assurance Customer Support (QAC) team member must balance the needs of the customer with the needs of P&W while strictly adhering to contractual obligations. The Quality Assurance Customer Support (QAC) team member will work closely with Quality Managers, the Customer Support Engineering team, and Quality Engineers.

A Customer Quality complaint can occur on any P&W engine program and any part. Understanding of various engine programs and components is beneficial. This job is important for the Quality Management System and face to the customer.

Qualification: 4-6+ years of technical experience of applied aerospace industry experience related to manufacturing and/or quality required.

ACE knowledge and the use of ACE tools or equivalent improvements methods is a must.

Strong leadership and decision making skills is required.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Basic knowledge of PW Quality Systems required.

Experience with SAP is a plus.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required; technical discipline or business field preferred.

MS or MBA preferred.
