The Master Schedule is the program’s most powerful management tool and when properly maintained, the schedule can be used to influence program management decisions and actions. As a Program Scheduling Supervisor, you will be required to ensure consistent quality program scheduling support. You will work both as a supervisor, coaching, leading and guiding team members and as an individual contributor at times, providing quality scheduling services.Outlined are some of the expectations of you and your team:
Managing schedule health, making sure that the schedule is vertically and horizontally linked to perform program critical path assessments.
Providing consulting support to the Program Office on Military Engine Programs, identifying, analyzing and managing risk to program events, promoting the IMS as a healthy, integrated management tool.
Contributing to the development of working schedules for estimating. Preparing proposal and preliminary schedules as required.
Creating program scheduling procedures and standard work, continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing training skills in order to enhance individual and team innovation and productivity as well as communicating improvements and efficiencies in scheduling processes.

o Experience in the use of project management programs (Primavera, SAP, MS Project, Open Plan).
o Experience in MS Office Programs (MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Access, MS Word).
o A strong understanding of project management and earned-value management principles and their application to complex projects.
o Extensive knowledge in the application of integrated cost/schedule techniques on major programs.
o Familiarity with a Monte Carlo schedule risk simulator such as Primavera Risk Analysis or Acumen Fuse.
o Experience in Aerospace and/or Defense programs.
