The Aftermarket Supply Chain is seeking an experienced Manager to lead strategic sourcing activities for the PW1100G-JM and PW1400G-JM (IAE LLC) engine programs. This position will report to the Senior Manager, IAE LLC Aftermarket Sourcing.

Specific focus for this position will be in the HPT and Combustion Chamber/Diffuser case modules. The candidate will be expected to be fully versed in the repair market’s ability to perform repairs specific to the technologies incorporated into the engines while maintaining oversight of the failure modes and current state performance of these modules. In depth analysis into capability and capacity requirements required to support these modules will remain a key focus during the early years of the PW1100G-JM and PW1400G-JM product lifecycles.

The candidate will be engaged in all aspects of sourcing repairs and other repair-related services. They will require exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to meet the rigorous interaction between our Pratt & Whitney discipline leaders, IAE LLC engine partners and our network of repair suppliers.

The selected candidate will be directly involved in the development and execution of all sourcing activities using standard work, negotiating agreements and analyzing proposals with the goal of obtaining the best overall service value for Pratt & Whitney and our MRO Partnership network. Following source selection, the selected candidate will lead LTA negotiation and execution as well as post-contract vendor management and supplier performance reviews.

The selected candidate will be required to interface with executives and participate in various stakeholder groups. The individual must possess the ability to develop and foster positive working relationships while maintaining customer and organizational priorities possess strong initiative, strategic leadership and be able to work independently. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated strategic sourcing leadership with a proven track record of negotiations and contract/LTA development/execution.

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in purchasing, operations, sales or supply chain management is required

  • 5 to 7 years of professional-level use of Microsoft Office related applications (ie. Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required

  • 5 to 7 years of experience negotiating and supplier contracts (LTAs)

  • 5 to 7 years of experience establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and managing supplier performance metrics

  • U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status (Green Card) is required

  • Must have valid passport and be willing to travel as required for work

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7 years of strategic sourcing and commodity management within the aerospace field.

  • 7 years of MRO repair station experience in supply chain or operations.

  • 7 years of experience negotiating and supplier contracts (LTAs) within MRO or repair station industry

  • 7 years of experience establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and managing supplier performance metrics within MRO or repair station industry

  • Familiarity with Pratt & Whitney NGPF engines and parts

  • Experience in negotiating pricing and supplier contracts (LTAs)

  • SAP experience with a focus on purchasing/related document flow

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Preference given to Business, Supply Chain or Engineering majors.

  • An MBA or a Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management/Administration, Engineering or Finance is preferred.
