Description:

P&W is the leader in 5th Gen military engines and the Low Observables Field and Manufacturing Support organization is responsible for providing day to day support for manufacturing and military customer issues wherever those issues may occur. The Low Observables Field and Manufacturing Support Engineer will participate on multifunctional teams to define and rapidly resolve production and field issues concerning signature critical hardware.

In addition, the engineer will work with government customer and airframe teammates to develop new tools and processes to improve the supportability and manufacturability of fielded and future propulsion systems.

Qualification: Basic Qualifications:

  • BS in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering or Physics is required

  • 1-3+ years experience with Radar, RCS or IR design practices and philosophies

  • must be able to obtain, and maintain, an active US government security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS is preferred.

  • Design experience and/or experience in a production environment

  • Additional skills and experience that would be valuable are:

  • RCS Testing and test procedures

  • Computer programming

  • Database Development and Management

  • Statistical Process Control

Education:
