The CIPT Leader is the single point focal responsible for leading all cross-functional IPT activity for Hot Section Engineering’s Operational Military Engines – this includes the F100-220, F100-229, and TF33. The CIPT leader provides ownership and accountability for all aspects (technical,financial, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, engine delivery and quality processes) of the OME programs in support of the fleet of engines in service with the US Air Force, and international customers.
In addition to the technical responsibility, the CIPT leader must manage tasks to schedule and budget requirements (EVMS) while ensuring that P&W’s quality and engineering standard work processes are adhered to. This position provides close support for the manufacturing teams and suppliers that produce the hot section hardware for these programs.
The CIPT leader’s ability to clearly communicate with module center management,,program management, senior engineering leadership and the customer is critical to success. Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
As a supervisory position, the CIPT leader is responsible for employee satisfaction and will create annual objectives, conduct annual performance reviews and salary merit discussions, as well as ensure that employee personal development plans are created and executed.
Minimum of 10 years of experience required.
Preferred Qualifications: Candidate should have experience in the development and support of hot section components. Candidate should have a solid understanding of the US Air Force customer, have solid EVMS skills, as well as a thorough understanding of managing operational fleets. Candidate should have demonstrated ability to lead a multitude of cross-functional teams to achieve results.
