Global Services Engineering (GSE) is looking for a leader to work with Aftermarket Operations and Engine Services to drive business improvements. This position requires the management of multiple priorities and projects in a globally distributed organization supporting P&W’s worldwide commercial customer base.
Drive reduction in operating costs by working with Aftermarket business units to identify, evaluate and develop expanded repair opportunities and improvements in shop productivity.
Drive reduction in FMP/FHA costs by working with Engine Services, Aftermarket business units and support organizations to identify, evaluate and develop expanded repair opportunities and improvements.
Interface with Customer Technical Services (CTS) leadership, Component Integrated Product Teams (CIPTs), and other engineering organizations to support aftermarket needs.
Manage finances by creating budgets, execution plans, and staffing plans to support the OMM planning process. Determine and execute hiring and outsourcing needs. Manage budgets for aftermarket and business growth programs.
Manage and report technical and budget progress to meet customer expectations for budget and delivery performance, and reporting norms.
Work with the rest of the GSE management team to determine the strategic path for the organization, and provide leadership to execute on that path.
Through the ACE toolbox, drive continuous improvement activities and robust root cause investigations to ensure GSE and P&W continue to deliver world class customer and shareholder value.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Must be a strong team player, team leader and coach who can work within a multi-discipline technical team environment to support engine services requirements.
