Sustainment Leader of the F-135 Affordability IPT with the goal to reduce the life cycle sustainment cost by 30% to meet DoD affordability challenges. Duties include identification of innovative initiatives to reduce sustainment costs, conducting robust business case analysis for investment/implementation plans, and incorporation of the impacts into the life cycle sustainment cost estimate (55+years). Regularly interact with the F-35 Sustainment Cost War Room. The F-35 Sustainment Cost War Room is led by a team consisting of JSF Program Office, Lockheed Martin, and P&W leaders. As the Propulsion Leader, manage the overall sustainment affordability initiatives for the F135 engine and the F-35 Air System.
10 years experience in related field. Experience in program management, sustainment cost management, and business case analysis. Experience in Pratt & Whitney OMM process and CIP task proposal and execution preferred. Experience in Depot maintenance and RCM methods desired.
