Over the next several years the F135 engine program will be standing up depots around the world to support engine maintenance. Some location where F135 Test Cell will be are Japan, Australia, Norway and Netherlands with others to follow. As a key member of a dynamic team you will be responsible for the design and standing up of the engine test Depot Off Board Prognostic Health Management (OBPHM) system, the Data Acquisition Systems (DAS), and the Engine Test Manual. You will play a key role in defining how the F135 Depot test cell will operate Domestically and Internationally for the life of the program.
This involves coordination and integration with the US and foreign customers on Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), and Critical Design Reviews (CDR), which will be held at supplier and customer locations. You will play a vital role in coordinating and monitoring the deliveries of test system components to ensure alignment with test schedules. This person is also responsible to define requirements to vendors and ensure all documentation is accurate and delivered on-time. Requires on-site support at various depots and providing support of engine runs after standup.
4+ years experience in the following:
Engineering, Field Service Operations, Test Cell operation or equivalent
Excellent Communication (written and verbal) along with interpersonal skills
Flexibility and think-on-your-feet capability to handle shifting requirements and unexpected issues
Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace engineering background
Foreign Travel experience
