The selected candidate will be the technical expert and engineering focal for all GTF Aftermarket service sourcing operations for the GTF product family. Candidate will support Commodity Managers and Sourcing Teams in establishing a robust, capable repair supply chain. Candidate will interface daily with Customer Technical Support, Global Services Engineering, Materials and Process Engineering, and the GTF Industrialization/MRO organizations.

Qualification:

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Management of all technical sourcing Q&A disposition to ensure repair vendors understand the scope of repair tech data

  • Evaluation of repair tech data readiness for sourcing, to include program plan alignment for RSA

  • Integration with Aftermarket Programs to ensure the GTF repair supply chain is ready to support engine center needs

  • Supply chain integration with Industrialization team to augment repair station readiness

  • Engineering focal and consult for Sourcing Teams across all GTF programs

  • Supplier assessments and improvement initiatives

  • Develop and assess supplier readiness to support GTF aftermarket operations

  • Evaluation of repair development and repair source approval/qualification for repair vendors

  • Cross-functional engineering and operations integration

  • Repair cost estimation (tooling, equipment, man-hours, consumables)

Education: BA/BS degree w/6–10+ years experience in aerospace engineering or aftermarket operations

  • MA/MS degree w/4–7+ years experience in aerospace engineering or aftermarket operation
