The engine program that powers the F-35 has an opening for a motivated, self-starting F135 Mechanical Systems Hardware Customer Support Engineer. As part of Military Customer Support & Services, duties include support of Field Customers at Base and Depot Locations across three different military services and multiple international customers.
Providing timely responses to numerous technical questions to ensure uninterrupted daily flight operations. Author presentations, logistics assessments, Position Papers, respond to daily MERLIN responses, and Action Requests (AR). Create maintenance awareness briefings, and support engineering investigations, coordinating with government customers. Coordinate technical issue resolution among PW CIPT, Logistics Program Management, and JPO customer. Support monthly safety meeting reporting any TEC/Augmentor system impacts to the fleet. Duties also include providing Joint Technical Updates pertaining to customer requests and Engineering Changes (EC) for Unit and Depot level maintenance.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field
6+ plus years of experience working in an engineering related job
AP License a plus
Jet engine assembly and engine shop maintenance experience
Demonstrated ability for solving problems
Strong work ethic
Excellent written and oral communication skills
