Duties of the Pratt & Whitney (P&W) Military Engines Contract Specialist include supporting the drafting, negotiation, interpretation and management of proposal and contract documents for Military Engines and Aftermarket services.

The P&W Military Engines Contract Specialist will be responsible for working with integrated program management team in implementation and day-to-day management of contracts for Military Engine Programs.

The responsibilities of the successful candidate will include all aspects of contract administration:

  • Ensuring contract compliance, determining / coordinating interpretation of contract language requirement

  • Reviewing and negotiating contract terms and conditions, supporting financial reviews and processes

  • Preparing contract amendments

  • Identifying contract and business risks, helping resolve customer concerns, supporting audits, and driving company initiatives including continuous improvement, standard work, and business financial goals.

This position will provide the selected candidate with the opportunity to develop customer interaction and analytical skills.

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • ​Minimum 1-3 years of experience in contract management or administration

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • The successful candidate will be a self-starter, an effective communicator, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work well supporting internal and external customers in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate
