RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support of the sales organization by providing sales support to our Regional Sales Managers, dealers, distributors, end-users and A&E consultants. Working closely within assigned region(s), this includes: providing quotes for product sales to customers and Interlogix field sales, direct selling of products to dealers, promoting new product introductions to Interlogix’s customers, communicating updates and/or changes to products, responding to routine sales leads from internal or external sources.

  • E-Sales

  • Outbound and inbound sales support to include dealer and distributor support through order and issue escalation management

  • Support or lead short-term sales initiatives/campaigns

  • Proactive selling initiatives/lead qualification

  • Generate and issue of sales quotes related to product and support services

  • Communicate sales promotions, new product introductions or updates

  • Host customer site visits to perform product demonstrations, opportunities within territory

  • 40% of calls will be outbound to customers with minimum call expectations set

  • Complete and respond to General Specification requests for pre-project bids

  • Responsible for small projects or multiple tasks within functional discipline

  • Works with moderate guidance on projects with short-term focus

  • Assigned territory with focus on exceeding quotas through supporting outside sales

  • Up to 25% travel to support sales meetings, trade show support, and campaigns

  • Team orientated and can adapt quickly to changes in the market

  • Makes significant contribution to their team by applying their knowledge of the discipline

  • Has a solid understanding of the fundamentals of the discipline and role with ongoing development of specialized knowledge

Qualification:

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong communication skills – phone, verbal, written, presentations

  • Comfortable giving presentations and product demonstrations

  • Strong selling skills, process oriented, exceptionally organized

  • Ability to translate technical advantages into business benefits

  • Technology oriented with some system design experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred and/or 3+ years experience in a sales/marketing capacity

  • Experience in the Security industry preferred but not required

  • Experience with iSales is a plus
