The Supply Chain Strategic Commodities group at United Technologies Aerospace Systems (UTAS) has an immediate opening for a highly motivated candidate to support the supply chain efforts for the development of global strategic suppliers who will manufacture and supply components for large commercial aircraft.
This person will be responsible for data accuracy and collection for supply chain cost management processes. Candidate will be responsible for publishing weekly analysis/reports for supply chain initiatives. Day to day activities will include interacting with several groups across the business, requiring excellent communication skills. Additionally, candidate will be expected to play a leadership role in:
Data updates from the Commodity team
Cross-functional financial coordination of cost reduction projects, including business unit summaries
Commodity cost process improvements
Implementation of the work transfer process, including turnback collection and improvements
Quarterly business reviews
New program savings initiatives
This position will also require the candidate to be an ACE participant & advocate. The candidate will participate in ACE/Continuous improvement events.
Experience working in high-pressure, fast- paced changing environments.
Advanced MS Office skills required (Excel, Word, Project Power, PowerPoint).
Industrial Engineering, Finance, Accounting or Supply chain degree.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in teams to accomplish business objectives.
Must possess the fundamental understanding of accounting and finance principles; business mathematics skills.
Ability to development business positions based on numerical analysis.
Other duties as assigned.
