The Air Data, MEMs and Flight Management Systems group is currently seeking to add a Product Support Engineer to the team. A Product Support Engineer is a technical expert in the assigned product lines at a system and component level, and has a detailed understanding of the related contractual requirements of the applicable Product Support Agreements. S/he is a customer facing employee who ensures that our Operators and OEM customers are satisfied with our products and services, and must be able to balance customer expectations with the needs of the business.

Product Support Engineers’ duties include but are not limited to:

Aftermarket technical support for our products and systems to Airlines, OEMs and other customers, including support of product and system troubleshooting.

  • Monitoring and analysis of in-service reliability and maintenance cost for our products and systems.

  • Customer and Employee training regarding our products and systems.

  • Creation, revision, and distribution of Maintenance Document (Technical Publications) for our products and systems.

  • Support product development and deployment with lessons learned, customer feedback, and Entry-into-Service support.

  • Representing UTAS technically at Operator and aircraft OEM customer conferences and meetings.


The preferred candidate will possess:

  • Two to five years in the aerospace/aviation industry.

  • Excellent written communications, organizational and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with electrical/mechanical systems operations and maintenance preferred.

  • Knowledge of aviation manuals and service bulletins preferred.
