This is an outstanding opportunity for the right candidate to play a key role to align employees with UTC’s business strategy and drive long-term performance through greater employee engagement.
As Global Communications Digital Specialist, and a key member of the Digital Accelerator, you will drive a critical communications transition, developing new and exciting channel functionality and promoting strategies and plans across the company.
You will liaison with Digital and Communications professionals across all Business Units to gather requirements, and design and deliver enterprise solutions that contemporize customer and employee experiences.
You are a multi-talented Digital professional with a passion for employee engagement and tying strategy to proven business results. You have demonstrated an ability to work across Digital organizations while building strong customer relationships. You have a passion for exploring, planning and deploying new technologies, especially towards content management, video, and social media.
Candidate responsibilities include:
Foster strong partnership with Business Unit Communication teams to leverage technology for effective and timely communications to employees worldwide; create plans and strategies to identify and deploy robust communication channels, implement and continuously improve them, and ensure success in engaging employees Partner with UTC’s core Digital professionals to identify and implement digital solutions into our products and services, providing greater value to our customers and employees Explore and implement new social media platforms Drive new features and technologies within internal and external .com sites across all BU’s (e.g. utc.com, UTC Now, insight) Drive communication platforms to all company-approved devices, especially focusing on mobile, and extend the reach to employees at non-traditional work locations Identify and deploy foundational systems, like Sitecore CMS, required for next generation web, mobile, and collaborative applications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or MIS
Effective at managing multiple projects under demanding deadlines
Experience in multi-national, industrials or UTC’s aerospace and commercial business markets highly preferred
