The Fire Safety Solutions group at UTC Climate Controls & Security is dedicated to providing product and technology designed to protect people and property from the effects of fire and its related hazards. Current job responsibilities (include but not limited to):
Help administer and maintain the internal Training SharePoint site: Develop, and maintain content and permissions for the site including: Training review sites; Create review sites to house content; announcements and collect comments; grant appropriate access; post review files; calendars; administrative resources; posting materials to and maintaining video and photo libraries.
Create and maintain all visual aspects of web content pages; course structure; post descriptions; post, maintain, troubleshoot content; create and maintain surveys
Collaborate with internal stake holders, to complete a detailed statement of work, schedule, procure props/equipment, talent and any required video content.
Write script and submit it to subject matter experts for review to produce final script
Account for lighting, and audio while directing talent to create a professional video
Video edit incorporating any still image, transitions and audio dubbing
Perform quality assurance assessments on video
Video screen captures as required
Final video to include intro and exit roll with appropriate YouTube hotspots and links
Photograph and edit product as necessary for online training, PowerPoint and website delivery
Create supporting materials including illustration retouching used in training department for classroom and online use
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong 2013 SharePoint administration and html knowledge
Moodle Site administration (Moodle 2.8.1 [Build: 20141113, third party plugins and html knowledge
Video experience using Canon EOS SD Mark III DSLR
Audio experience using Rode Video Mic
Studio lighting setup experience
Computer proficiency in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Adobe Captivate and Photoshop
Computer proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, CorelDraw, PowerPoint or comparable software
